Mikata Buffet is one of those places that surprises you—in both good and not-so-good ways. The standout is the sheer variety. There’s a huge selection of Asian dishes: noodles, fried rice, fish, shrimp, crab, crawfish, sushi, and a range of meats, plus four different types of soups. On top of that, they cater to broader tastes with North American staples like pizza, fries, and chicken nuggets. The hibachi station is a big plus—you pick your own meats, veggies, and noodles, and they cook it fresh right in front of you. Add in a solid spread of desserts and a full salad bar and… wow. You definitely won’t run out of options. That said, the space itself feels very dated. The décor hasn’t been refreshed in decades (complete with old, bulky TVs that look straight out of the early ’90s), and the washrooms could use a serious upgrade—they’re not the cleanest. Still, at around $18 per person, the value is hard to beat. You get a ton of food, plenty of variety, and you will absolutely leave full. Overall: great value, massive selection, and worth it if you prioritize food over ambiance. Highly recommend
Being a fan of good buffets, I consider this one of the best. We drive almost an hour to enjoy lunch or dinner here. The restaurant has a massive buffet that is clean and orderly, with a large staff that maintains it! The selection of food is truly extensive and delicious! You rarely see a buffet with a high rating, and I’m here to support the truth in its ranking!
1st time here, the best Chinese restaurant. I will go here from now on. The buffet display was everything you could think of and more, including sushi . Perfection and helpful service. Seated upon entering, price was worth it @ $17.99from 4 to closing. Before 3 is $13.99. Even the pictures don’t do justice you have to check it out. Thank you for a beautiful experience and enjoyable meal.
Can not be more than happy for the price and wide choice of food. I tried both lunch and dinner. Dinner is a little more expensive but also a bit more food! Service is very efficient and very nice!! Food quality is not bad. We didn’t wait and could get table immediately. Definitely recommended
I came across to this place in 2024 while visiting. I would say this is the best all you can eat in the USA at this price range. It's unbelievable to get oyster at $17.99 !!!
I have visit this place several times and it never disappoint me. The selection is great and plenty to select from. The staff is great and polite. They are on top of their service. As soon I was done with my plate they came and pick it up and when I was getting low on water they came and gave me a new one. And the water taste good, that's one thing I'm picky about is my water. For the price you simply can not do better! The fresh selection is amazingly delicious. The Oyster bar is a very nice addition. The American meat dishes were a little dry, but all the food was flavourful! The atmosphere is more family dining style with lots of larger groups but if you are not looking for a intimate upscale setting, this place is a can't miss!
